GRAFFLEX x ADDVENTURE 2022
Share
In the summer of 2022, Bluey Bluey kicked off with its first exhibition of over 40 works by Korean artist Grafflex. A pop-up show on London’s Brick Lane, the graphic artist’s exhibition mirrored the areas energetic visuals and vibrancy. Bold Lines depicted somewhat distorted images of loved animated children’s characters: Tweety Bird, Sylvester and Bugs Bunny. Other works highlighted Grafflex’s love for street culture, a dynamic style that has resulted in the artist collaborating with major pop-culture stores and brands around the world, including designing a Be@rbrick with Medicom. It is in this capacity that Bluey Bluey founder Lee Ratcliffe first met Grafflex, creating various prints for Flexx Lex. After years of developing an online working relationship, everyone at Bluey Bluey was delighted to finally meet Grafflex and his team when he came over to London for the show.
